Guest Speaker: Michelle Markey – Medina Arts
Michele Markey, owner of Medina Domestic Arts Studio, transitioned from a successful 30-year career in the oil and gas industry to pursue her passion for quilting. In 2008, she began quilting professionally and expanded her business to include embroidery. Over time, Michele discovered a love for fabric painting on embroidered blocks, which has become a central focus of her work. Today, she shares her expertise by teaching fabric painting classes and presenting trunk shows, combining her roles as an educator and vendor.
