Well – had to miss the September meeting AND this year’s crowning event – our Quilt Auction. I believe Cathy Kropp has posted some September photos on the Facebook page. And thanks to Joanne Krepps, we have photos of the Auction. Also – thanks to Joanne – I was able to participate in the auction and wound up with a wonderful lap-sized quilt. Well – there were lots of photos and updates to post this month – so please accept apologies if you got too many e-mails with updates. I try to keep control of that, but it can get away from me. First up – an apology. As a person galloping up to old age – I totally messed up my June calendar and thinking – and missed the June meeting and have no photos. If anyone has photos, please let me know. We got the May Show & Tell and Kathy Smith’s Trunk Show posted now. Well worth a relook at everything that was on display this month. Also – there’s an Auction post and a Charity post – along with a post on our upcoming July workshop. Don’t forget to go to Auction and Charity for some small updates in those areas as well. Program Chair, Kathy Smith, was able to show us what will be made in the July workshop. With the patriotic theme that goes with July – you will be making a table runner or small wall hanging with a flag theme. Looks exciting. Let Kathy know if you want to sign up. Limited spaces.
Our April meeting was full of charity activity. If you want to see us busy stuffing pillows – go here. The Show & Tell in April was a little smaller than usual, but that was more than made up by the stunning quality of the quilts shown. Enjoy these beautiful quilts here.
I’m still learning, but hopefully you’ll still be able to see the pictures of the March Meeting Trunk Show from Michael Young and the March Show and Tell. I’ll have to have some remedial training before the next meeting. Until then ….. enjoy the eye candy. Tom has been taking care of this website so long, I think everyone has forgotten what a task this really is and how good he was at it. Thanks Tom for all your hard work. I’m obviously a poor student because I couldn’t figure out how to post things quite right but I think everything is viewable. Thanks for taking the photos.
