It comes up once a year! Enough about me. Here are the May updates – click here for our May Show & Tell. And then there was the very interesting program provided us by Jan Eskridge – click here.

What a great month here in South Central Texas. The bluebonnets have been blooming. Fiesta is almost in full-time party mode. And AHQG got to commune and show off all at the same time! We communed as we stuffed pillows for cancer patients in one of our charity events (go here for photos). Then, members got to show off how good we really are! (go here to see all those quilts again!)
March was such a fun month. St. Patrick’s Day – hey? The speaker – Charlotte Angotti – was super entertaining. On Saturday, she had a wonderful mystery workshop. And of course – our member’s Show & Tell. Take a little time and relive those moments.
I post the monthly updates here – together. But, you don’t see the links! to overcome this – merely click on the post title and you will get the version with the links. Hope that makes everything easier.
We had a good meeting, as usual, this February. Wonderful presentation by Cheryl Matzen on her rapid half- square method. And the Show and Tell was marvelous. Gee, your webmaster even dragged out a colorful Halloween quilt to share.
The updates this month include Suzi Parron’s program about ‘Barn Quilts’. And then, of course we have the monthly sharing of our quilts in Show & Tell. If you missed the newsletter, you can find it here.
Take time to go revisit our 2018 Christmas Party, Show & Tell and Installation of officers. Go here for Show & Tell. Go here for the Party. Click on the title above to get links!
Somehow, I missed posting September photos – so they’re now available. October Show & Tell (Click Here) was highlighted by many completed Bargello quilts from Septemeber Class. The October Program (Click Here) was a chance for member to member sharing of ideas and practices. I provided a walk through on how to best enjoy the photos on this site. You will find the guide/walk through on the October Show & Tell. As always, feel to call or email me if you need more information. Tom
Well, I can have all the good intentions in the world – but that doesn’t give me any more time! Had lots of vague plans for pictures taken at our September meeting – but not right now. Maybe I’ll go back later and do some personal touches with names/quilt titles etc. In the mean time – enjoy what is available. Man – don’t you think we could open up a quilt museum or something like that? What great work our members put out. Go here to see our September Show & Tell. And I know lots of you had fun playing with the long arm brought by Patty’s Sewing Shop – as well as enjoyed their trunk show.
Plenty of heat – and lots of indoor activities – like quilting! This month, we had the annual Salad & Games meeting and of course – the Show & Tell. In addition, there’s all the wonderful pictures of the fun that was had at ‘Dea’s Beat the Heat’ retreat in New Braunfels. Take a little time and enjoy memories of August.
