Well, February has been quite a month. At our meeting, we had an extraordinary Show & Tell event – with the line up stretching through much of the room. Go here to enjoy the display.
As for our program, our own member – Joan Wallace, gave us plenty of ideas and wowed us with her art work and designs. I, for one, have already started doing some vector searches for ideas. Thanks Joan. Go here to relive Joan’s presentation.

Here are the photos Joanne has shared to post on the website. The Guild certainly out did itself this year. Lots of fun, colorful and useful quilts for charity. The last of the photos show the quilts being delivered to the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

With all the maddness that comes with the AHQG Auction – I don’t know how we found time to hold the regular October Meeting – but we did! And what a great meeting it was.
We added photo albums for our Show and Tell here. And there was our wonderfully entertaining speaker – Rosie Deleon – go here for a look at her red work on display.
With all the hoopla going on around the 2015 auction, it was nice to see Charity quilts on display at our october, ’15 meeting. Thanks to Janet for this reminder of our many other goals.
Well, I was able to sneak in some work late last nite and early this morning. Then – while on the road, I took the time to finish this update so that it could be shared timely. I’m afraid – as I had to leave early from the meeting, I got no pictures from the speaker – though it looked like those that stayed were in for a special treat. the biggest part of the meeting was taken by showing many of the quilts being sold in auction next month – and the election of the 2016 AHQG Board.

Really great Meeting! It was HOT outside – but that didn’t keep members away, nor tamp down spirits. We celebrated the 20th Anniversary with a terrific potluck dinner, a beautiful anniversary cake, and of course – the Tres Amigas presentation. There pictures are all HERE
